Coronary Artery WRA's cardiac scoring program is a non-invasive assessment of coronary artery disease using a multislice CT scanner. This is the most sensitive program available for detecting coronary artery calcification. This test is an absolute marker of coronary artery disease. Indications for CT Coronary Artery Screening include: 1) Men over 45 and women over 55 who have at least two of the following risk factors: - Obesity
- Hypertension
- Family History of Coronary Artery Disease
- Hypercholesterolemia
- Diabetes
- Smoking history
2) Elderly women with atypical chest pain. The study consists of rapid CT scanning through the heart. The exam takes just a few minutes and there is no patient preparation or contrast administration.
